The EluciDATA Lab Team contributed to a brochure on the GDPR for KMO-ICT

The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) has introduced new principles (some of them were already applicable under previous legislations at national and European levels, but they have been more clearly defined in the GDPR) such as for example the right to be forgotten, the data minimisation principle, the necessity of asking for an explicit consent to process personal data, the right to withdraw such a consent, the right to ask for the erasure of data, the right to data portability...Those can be challenging, especially for SMEs.
In this context, the EluciDATA Lab of Sirris contributed to a brochure for the ICT-KMO: "Stel u als KMO in orde met de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG)", which amongst others defines and illustrates the main principles that should be paid attention to, when you are an SME.
